IC: Grapple: "May I have some Icecream." Grapple muttered quietely in snoze.
IC: Stingray ::Laughed lightly to herself hearing Grapple's request, she would get both of them icecream after the meeting was over::

Dirge paused for a moment before looking Jess's way. "That bag of bolts?!? He still thinks there's a war going on, he can't be trusted not to take a crack out us beast Decepticon council members... Wasn't the reason he was transferred to your maverick hunters was that he couldn't handle all the con and con descendants walking around cybertron?" He responds, a bit concerned about the situation at hand.
Sunstorm looked in Jess's direction with some concern as well. "Though I wouldn't have put it as harshly as Dirge Jess... Takedown does have some prejudices towards the opposite faction of what he once belonged."

Jess gave them a look of 'What you don't think I KNOW THAT?'
"Yet, at the same time, he can't really be bribed by MY government. Because, Look, anyone I pick is going to HAVE to deal with those Ass hats and if you think the CURRENT Maximal elders were slime bal..." Jess said, quickly catching herself... she had a few cards she wanted to play in case she EVER had to deal with the evil maxi elders....
"Basically I need someone who DOESN'T have anything the U.W.N DOESN'T have any dirt on and really... he's the only one I know ." Jess said as she leaned forward and rested her elbows on the table. "I know it's a choice you guys may not like, but Unless you REALLY want a lot of Sensitive Data leaked out...."

IC: Elita listened to the others talk anger slightly brewing. She calmed the anger down clearing her throat. She knew this was giong to cause trouble or make a fool out of herself.
"Listen guys and gals Jess has a point here. Takedown may have his pros, cons and beef's with the opposite faction. Don't we all have our pros and cons? But that doesn't mean he wouldn't be a good council member." Elita paused slightly as she calmed her nerves down she knew this was going cause soem trouble.
Speaking again, "Dirge let Starscream take a seat for the their council. So far Starscream has done well, or as well as he is going to. The point of this matter is give Takedown a chance to be a council member, he might turn out better than you think." Elita said quitely but with some resentment. As she closed her eyes and braced herself for the worst.

Dirge responded calmly. "It was a life or death situation for Polyhex. Excuse me for trying to improve the social image of the Decepticon faction... Starscream had his combaticons, our forces were being overwhelmed by sheer numbers of biological monstrosities coming our way. It was either my people or my ego, I chose my ego to be sacrificed." He explained calmly, glancing in thunderbird's direction. "Too many leaders lead to the problems already facing the council. Too many people looking for the top."

Dirge nods in response, looking to Discord. "A number of the potential members we've been researching has mostly been from that group... though I've also been looking for members I could help with their altered emotional states due to physical alterations. Shockwave has come back as well, but has been so...traumatized by her alterations and...uh... how would you say it... retainment of her original figures that few have seen her outside of the group home." He pauses for a moment, thoughtful about the current situation. "If there's one thing I learned in the decepticon army, it was to deal with these problems and turn them into assets rather then hinderances... I think it's time to apply that dynamic to the other councils, wouldn't you agree folks? Like for instance... some of the enhancer abuse has brought many old-timers to a more viable form for politics through the return of earlier, younger forms. Someone already suggested Shana... and Octo, Bugly, and Iguanus came from a similar situation. Why stop there?"

Jess was about to do a little Potlical by play* She hated to do this but... really, she had to make it a point that Takey wasn't really tied down with all the red tape that the Hunters NORMALLY had...* When Rock suddenly spoke up.
"How about Razorwind? He's not a part of the hunters and he's on good terms with some of the choices they've thrown out. " Rock said. Jess, however, sweatdropped.
"Rock... " Jess sighed, " You KNOW how the U.W.N is about gate units..."
"Yeah, but Razey hasn't done anything yet to tick them off." Rock pointed out.
"That's because Gate's...." Jess said before trailing off.... damn why DIDN'T she think of this....
Oh, right, the fact her family could be dead or worse....
"Cancel Takedown's seat for the council." She said, " I want Gate for it."

IC: Elita ::Kept her eyes closed as she bit back the anger she was feeling she knew what she had said was going to cause trouble and that teeded her off to no end. there are times I feel like Opitmus of the past when he ran into problems like this can't imagtion the headaches he got from all the policiatil slag. finally opening her eyes she decided to zip it and not say nothing more there was no sense even saying anything.
IC: Stingray ::could sense Elita was upset about what she had said. Maybe after the meeting was over she would talk to Elita a little while maybe it would help her::

Dirge notices Elita's reaction to the situation before turning towards Jess. "Wait, you didn't have to remove it... I thought we were talking about multiple seats here to begin with. I wasn't outright saying no, I was just voicing concern... I'm not cowardly enough that I can't handle him on a council." He responds, feeling that Elita had made a decent enough point. After all... if anything, they could just let him and Starscream fight it out over things.

IC: Elita ::Looked over to Dirge she didn't say anything just gave a look of thanks she said what she had to say and let it go which way it was going and it looked like it would be trouble more than anything. It didn't matter now what she said most of what she said would be put to the side or let alone::
