Skyfighter is amused by this as she dodge all of Shellshock's rounds with hard earned agility and a tactical knowledge for which she paid a heavy price. The first four miss completely as she dashes closer making them miss their mark due to her suddenly being closer; of the next three, one grazes her leg slightly as she vaults into the air and twists to aim a flame blast right down on top of him. Which should (if he was like most cybetronians), manage to hit his neck circuitry and servos, doing some rather painful damage; doubly so if the idiot looked up. Not bothering to check to see whether or not she'd hit, Skyfighter twists in mid-air once more to land on her feet and aims a second flame blast at the back of his knees; another structural weak point. Well normally; Skyfighter didn't know whether or not someone had finally managed to eliminate the glaring weaknesses in the younger generation's frame types.
Darkclaw just watched this whole thing impassively and "tsk'd" when Skyfighter got 'hit' "Don't get sloppy commander" she commented idly.
Sabre just snickered at the winged feline and red fox "Oh don't worry he'll live. Our medic is 'very' good at patching people up. Besides he'll be going to visit her even if he does somehow miraculously win. Though that will be because he's going to have to beat all of us to get to that door and no matter how lucky he might be..." she trailed off and just grinned.
Shadow just reached over and smacked Beedrill upside the head "Don't intimidate the fledglings" she said idly. Not even bothering to address them; after all as far as she was concerned they hadn't yet proved themselves; they were just fledglings not yet warriors.
Beedrill just pouted "You're no fun." She looked over at the new recruits "Oh don't fret I'm an interrogation specialist; I don't get to play with you unless you do something stupid....like that guy" she pointed at Shellshock. "Skyfighter might let me play with him" again the word play was not invoking a particularly pleasant feeling.

Skullgrin watches the fight for a few before glancing over at the scared recruit. "The axe crazy one came with you guys... are you sure youre safer back there?" she manages to mutter before glancing back at Sabre. "Hes cocky, but definitely trained. Reminds me of Treadshot during the war... which could be a bad thing."

Shellshock let out a sharp cry as the rain of fire bear down on his neck. He felt his neck circuitry and servos violently burn. His internal computer told him there was 45% heat damage and that his heat shield is holding. Luckily for the young solider he didn't look up. Doing that could have did more damage than usual. Shellshock laughed at Sky. "You call that a flamethrower? I can't lit my ciggys with that cheap ass lighter of yours!" Shellshock mocked her as he tries to fight off the effects of Sky's attack. Before he can react or do a counterattack, he felt his knees burning. He didn't scream and didn't show any signs of physical discomfort. The young recruit forced himself out the fire blast and sluggishly sidestepped. He raised his gun, targeted her shoulder, and fire a well-placed shot at her shoulder. He was thankful that his knees aren't his weak spots. And his heat shielding held. For now anyways. He needs to think of something fast though.
Some of the recruits heard what Sabre said. The way she said it was very unnerving to them. Hearing Beedrill's speciality and that comment didn't help matters for them neither. Some of them wondered if they can go back to Devacorp. If Shadow turned around, she would notice at least five of the recruits were glaring daggers at her, wanting to have a go at her. The winged siamese looked at Sabre before going back to the fight.
A small grey and white femme with a white dove beast mode and having a white mage motif going on, raised her hands a little hopping to get notice. "Ummmm.....ma'am. Excuse me, ma'am." The young femme called out to Sabre.
"Safe? What's safe?" a recruit dryly quizzed Skullgrin.

Skyfighter just gave a feral grin "Kid; you really don't know when to shut up" dodging agilely out of the way the shot instead grazed the underside of one of her forearms; luckily missing the flamethrower attached to the top part of her arm. Twisting round she performed a cartwheel kicking out with one of her legs as she did so before landing back on her feet and aiming a low sweeping kick to the mech's already damaged legs. Hoping to topple him over.
Darkclaw sighed "This is getting silly she might actually decide to kill him if he keeps this up." The larger femme however would not intervene unless his commander gave her permission. Nevertheless she did almost feel sorry for the poor idiot.
Saber snorted in response to Darkclaw "Don't worry Skyfighter's not lost herself in her memories yet. She's just enjoying herself. After all idiots like him should know better than to play with fire." Saber blinked as she was addressed "Eh? Lady please don't call me ma'am makes me feel old! Anyhow what can I do you for?" Slipping more into the mindset of a slightly ditzy teenager Saber enjoyed talking to people. Besides it was best to get to know people that they might be working with.
Shadow; however, did not turn around. What she did was to draw her gun-blade and rest it gently on the floor whilst she held onto it's handle. Other than that she did not say a word or make any other vaguely threatening motions.
Beedrill just giggled "There is no such thing as safe; why do you think we all stick together. We can watch each others backs and ensure that the general unsafetyness is not life threatening!" That and freaking out people was always fun.

The Warthog just watch the whole thing with much annoyance and distain. It's barely the first day and one of their own is already having a go with a senior member. And one of the most toughest Decepticon he knows. "Ya know? Back in the war, we lost a shitload of recruits that way." He spoke to Saber and Darkclaw. " Cold Fillet nodded in agreement. He added "Aye. And that's why you lot lost the war." Warthog bot just shrugged in response. "Pretty much so."
He than goes back to Darkclaw. "Seriously. I don't think Deva would appreciate having one of the newbies getting offed early. " The Warthog bot heard Skullgrin said that Shellshock reminded him of Treadshot. He chuckled. "That Treadshot. He was a nasty piece of work. Took a couple of Autobots down on his own before backup shows up!Hell, damn near put the Technobots out of commission, yessir." He said with a bit fondness in his vocal processor. Than he flatly added "Doesn't change the fact he was a prick."
Shellshock tried to fire off the shot and evade Skyfighter's cartwheel attack, but he wasn't fast enough. As a result, he fall on the floor with a groundshaking thud. "Shit, shit, shit!" He yelled as he tries to get back up.
Cold Fillet watched Skyfighter leg sweeped Shellshock and him falling like a airborne anvil. "And with that, we have a winner." Cold replied.
"Reckon about time." The Warthog bot added.
"That was..... anticlimatic."The winged siamese femme snarked as she saw the massive turtle got knocked down. "Mildly amusing but anticlimatic nonetheless."
"23939111?" The fox femme asked.
"Unsafetyness is not a word." The cat bot answered back.
The dove bot just blinked and looked at Saber neverously before asking her question. "Where me and Mutt can find the sick bay?" Standing next to the small dove bot, is a stocky, grey and brown medium sized mech with a huge shoulder cannon strapped to his right shoulder, downing a bottle of energon. His beast mode resemble a Saint Bernard. After the mech finished drinking his booze, he let out a loud blech.
When Shadow let out her blades, most of the young recruits took note and backed down. They sensed she means business. They put thoughts of having a go at her out of their own collective minds. Most of them put the thoughts of having a go with Shadow out of their databanks. Three of the recruits still want to have a go at her.

Skullgrin just replied with a smirk as the fight concluded. "Dunno, it's an autobot word... but the closest I've had to safety is nestled inside my old Pretender Shell. Helps feel it when you've got a shell around you keeping your body going after all." She glances around, looking back to the others for a moment and studying their expressions. She still can't believe some of the kids look trigger happy. Either Deva knew how desperate they were at times.... or this was ot keep them from blowing up bits of cybertron. She glances over to Sabre for a moment before responding with a smirk. "Eh, sign of respect Saby. At least they're not calling you madam... now that would be old." She giggles at the thought.

[OOC: Sorry it's been so long...RL got in the way]
Skyfighter sighed "You show promise kid. But you've got a long way to go; especially considering I've been doing my best not to kill you. We're here to teach you; learn what we have to show you...then if you want we can have a rematch on a proper field of battle some day." With that she walked away without even taking a glance back walking to her subordinates she looked to Darkclaw and ordered quickly "Carry him to the medbay and make sure Windwhisper sees him. She knows what to do." Turning to the rest of the assembled kids she grinned at them "Anyone else?" she asked "Because I can do this all day."
Darkclaw just shrugged at that "Well that's why we called them cannon fodder in the first place. It was only after their 'trial by fire' so to speak that they were considered true warriors" she replied "Well that's pretty much the reason Skyfighter was playing nice this entire fight" she added on as an afterthought regarding Deva's opinion on the matter. Snapping a salute with a "Yes ma'am" Darkclaw complied to the order walking over to the fallen 'idiot' and picking him up slinging him over her shoulder with little ease. "Come-on ya silly kid lets get you to Windy she'll fix you right up" she spoke to Shellshock as she carried him off ignoring any attempts he might have made at trying to get away focusing her strength into holding him in place.
Saber just giggled "All over now!" regarding the fight before looking at the two who were asking her the question "DC's taking the silly turtle there now; but I'll go too so you can follow me if you like. Seeing Windy get her fur stand on end's always funny." She trailed off and just grinned looking a little silly as she stared off into space for a moment before huffing at Skullgrin "Well I'm not used to it. We've been out and about so long no-one's ever called me that before!" she pouted a little at that. Looking every bit an immature teenager...well...looks can be deceiving.
Beedrill just laughed out loud at that making a happy little buzzing sound...a little too happy. "Depends on your dictionary!" she exclaimed. "Oh it's all over...anyone want to play with me next?!" she hopped about a bit before getting pulled back by Shadow.
"Not now. Besides they would not like your games" she said softly one hand still on her gunblade a dangerous glint in her optics.
Beedrill just snorted "Oh like they'd enjoy yours any more? ...hey it's been a while since you cut someone to pieces. You miss it?" ah the art of psycological warfare. Beedrill did have her reasons for this; she wanted to see what kind of mental fortitude the newbies had. Shadow was a cold sparked killer and a perfect tool to test the courage of her new toys.
"Not particularly" it was short answer spoken without interest. Shadow was still giving the impression of ignoring the fledglings behind her. If they wanted to have a go at her then they could try; but unlike Skyfighter she would not show mercy.
"It's too bad; you know. Unlike our leader I've never known you give quarter. You always finish off a fight like that with the other being...well...dead." Beedrill needled her comrade; carefully taking notes of the reactions she was getting.
"I am capable of holding back in a spar you know" was Shadow's only reply. Spoken with a cold surety; it didn't give the feeling of being particularly reassuring.
Skyfighter just smirked coldly hiding her amusement...only those who knew what to look for would see it. "Okay you two enough. Beedrill stop scaring the kids. Shadow don't start anything; they don't know how to deal with your type of combat yet" she spoke in an authoritative voice the two nodded and although Beedrill looked disappointed she stopped her questions and just smirked "As you command my leader" she replied with a theatrical bow. Shadow just nodded.

Shellshock groaned as he was helped back up by Darkclaw. He even said some rather unpleasant words under his nonexistant breath. "It's not over yet. I can still kick your primuslaggin tailpipe." The dark blue tortoise said defiantly. He was trying to physically break away from the Badger/Bluebird fuzor but a combination of the fight, a couple of injuries he received and the fact she's physically holding him proved to be ineffective. Shellshock just gives up and lets the fuzor carry him to the medics. That's okay though. He's looking forward for the rematch. He's going to need all the strength he can get. The small white femme smiles a small smile and bows humbly."Thank you, ma'am." She spoke and proceed to follow Darkclaw and the dinged up idiot to the medby. The slightly larger dog bot started to follow her to the medbay as well. The dog bot was still drinking energon.
The Warthog bot nodded in agreement with Darkclaw. "So, Shellshock actually got minted already." The Warthog chuckled at the situation "Well what ya know? The boy did something right for once. I wonder which one of the greenhorns are going to take the plunge next."
Cold and the Warthog watch Shellshock being carted off by the medics. Cold raised his hand and rubs the bridge of his nose in annoyance. He doesn't know who to feel more embarrassed for Skyfighter for having to deal with Shellshock or Shellshock for making an colossal ass out of himself. He mentally chooses the latter. Cold commented in sheer annoyance at Shellshock's exploit. "I'm starting to wonder why old girl sent him in the first place. I honestly think we can do without him. I mean, we already got a bunch of tailpipe kickers, very nasty customers and skull smashers. Not to mention the big guy over there." Cold points to the giant gray heavily armored mech who obviously has the beast mode of a African Elephant, who was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and watching the whole thing with a bored look on his face. Cold thinks it over real quick. "Than again having Tusk would probably be a bit overkill too."
The red fox just looked at the giddy Beedrill in fear and hid behind the winged cat bot. The fox bot whispered in fear. "69424155366622531!" The cat bot just looked at Beedrill with a slight look of fear and concern. "Yes, Burnup. Yes she is."
When Beedrill bowed, she felt something flew passed her. Next thing anybody heard was a loud "Boom" and a huge burst of flames were shooting out of the room. A lone flaming barrel was rolling out the just now destroyed room. Everybody in attendance was shock at what happened. "Alright, y'all! Who just try to off Beedrill with that there rocket?!" The Warthog demanded "I'm all for showin off, but save that slag for the enemy! This ain't Charr!" All the recruits and the veterans all turned towards the identity of the would be assassin. It was a tall and slender, yellow, black and white femme. And pink. The femme bot had a feathered white and dusted pink beast mode, indicating it's a bird of sorts. She was also holding a smoking rocket launcher. She lowers it and looks a little embarassed. She lets a sheepish smile form all over her faceplate. "Oopsie daisy!" The femme said while trying to pass the attempt on Beedrill. "Finger slipped." A red, black, and white femme who has the same beast mode as the yellow femme who just rubbed her eyebrows an embarrassment. "Too much and too soon, coz. Way too soon." The red femme groaned in annoyance.

DC just laughed at the battered bot's mutterings "Aye I hear you; however, Skyfighter has years of experience on you lad. In fact we all do. Though I'll admit you've got potential; maybe one-day you'll be a match for someone who has lived twice" and with that cryptic remark DC finally exited the hangar bay and started off towards Windy. Ignoring those following her.
Saber just grinned "It's not a problem...I'm a scout so running about the place is pretty much what I do!" Quickly shifting into her own altmode Saber darted off after her team-mate with a silly little laugh.
Skyfighter just shrugged "I'm not particularly bothered. People have been trying to kill us for years; we got used to things like this so long ago it's not even funny any more. I had to beat the slag out of some of my team-mates to get them to join me in the first place. Though I wont say who." She didn't feel embarrassed in the least standing there proud and tall without a trace of fear; it seemed as though at that moment she wasn't worried about the whole lot of them ganging up on her.
Beedrill just blinked "...did I miss something?" acting completely oblivious.
Shadow shook her head "Someone tried to kill you...too bad they missed. I could do without your irritating presence for a few days" she replied flatly.
Beedrill just pouted "Awww my dear little ball of darkness you don't mean that surely?"
Shadow just gave her a flat look "You're not watching any more comedy spoofs ever" was her only reply. After which she looked over at the femme "Rocket launchers make poor assassination tools. Either use a blade or at that distance a crossbow. If you had succeeded you would have died the moment I heard the rocket leaving that barrel. Unlike you I do not miss" and with that she drew her gun-blade so fast it looked like it had teleported (except to those who were used to Shadow's quick motions in that case it was still fast; just not that fast). "Do you care to try me?" It might seem a bit strange to be giving advice to a potential foe; but Shadow took her teaching role very seriously.
The solemn moment was ruined when Beedrill giggled "Aww you DO care!....why comedy spoofs......oh I know! Nevermind!" she then blinked slowly at the fox "Are you implying that I'm crazy? Because you know that's only partially true. I'm mostly just a sadist!" She seemed a little to proud of that. Only to get whacked by Shadow's flexible tail and silently told to shut up and to stop ruining the moment.

SKullgrin grimaced to herself as she heard the sound of the rocket going off. Primus this new batch was insane, even more insane then some of the decepticons she's known over the years. "Could we please keep the gunplay to when we're in the field?!" She responds loudly, walking over to the fox and shaking her fist at her. "I did not come back to have the ship dropped on me by some wannabee Spinister! What's your name Soldier?" Orders start to come over the hanger's speakers, listing designation number and barrack locations.

The foxbot raised her hands in innocence and starts to mouth a long string of nonsensical numbers and math equations. The winged kittybot immediately starts to translate what the foxbot has said. "She said her name is Burnup and she's incinderary tactics." The kitty bot translated her frightened friend calmly "Meaning she plays around with fire." Burnup nods in agreement. Than the young fox ratted off some more numbers. The kittybot continued without missing a beat. "Fire and anything relating to fire. She also wants to state that it wasn't her that attempted to make you into a gooey smear pattern on the wall. If it was her, she would have use a good old fashion...." She than looks at Burnup with a annoyed look. "This isn't really the time right now, dear." Burnup looks at the kitty bot and than back to looking at Skullgrin and goes back to defending herself. Sort of speak.
"533306346044488200233309222." She explained. The kitty boy heard it and nods. She than proceeds to translate some more of Burnup's unique language. "Again. She said it wasn't her that fired that rocket. It was that flamingo chick over there. And if you excuse me, you and the bee lady is scary the lubricant out of me." The kitty bot finish explaining and translating her friend's language. Than the winged cat bot remembered something else. She added "I almost forgot. That copter chick claims to be Spinster's kid. True story."
"Seriously, Sundown. That was way too much and too soon." The red feathered femme said while gathering her things and start heading towards her designated barracks. The yellow feathered femme just laughs. She than replies, "But it got us noticed didn't it, cuz?" The red femme just rolled her optics in annoyance. When the speakers gave the recruits their designation numbers and barracks, the recruits started to grab their things and started to go to their destination. Some of them hang around and spoke amongst each other. Cold Fillet and the Warthog bot just watch the recruits go into their barracks. "Attempted assassination during orientation. That brings me back." The Warthog said while watching the recruits leave. Cold Fillet nodded in agreement. Cold Fillet than spoke "I swear, those lot would be the death of us if we're not careful."

Shadow just blinked once "I get that a lot" she replied "I however; do not care. I am pleased that you wouldn't make such a mess out of my calling so I shall tell you this, Skyfighter likes fire; perhaps sometime you could speak with her. You might get along." The dragoness spoke in a rather flat and quiet tone though not completely without emotion more along the lines of that she didn't really care.
Beedrill just giggled "Little one; if I didn't scare you I wouldn't be much of a torture and psychological warfare specialist now would I?" of course she was embellishing this a little but no one really felt like calling her out on it.
Skyfighter laughed a little at that and spoke up to the warthog and Cold Fillet "Oh boy I remember when I tried to kill my commanding officer in the most humiliating way possible...ah good times. I wouldn't worry too much we'll just have to keep them busy and expect them to at every corner. Me and mine are used to it so it wont make things much different from normal. So long as no-one crosses the line we'll be content to leave them to their games." Whilst she sounded joking there was a steely glint in her optics; Skyfighter meant business and she wasn't going to treat the rookies like kids if they came after her and her team. After all; as one of the humans once said, 'All's fair in love and war'.

Skullgrin listened carefully before nodding. "Shadow is right. Skyfighter is the one with the pyrokinetics in our crew Burn-up, if you're looking for a mentor of sorts." She explained, loosening up at the explanation. She glanced in Beedrill's direction with a smirk. "Of course, of course Beedrill. We probably should release you on the prisoners more often." She glanced back over to the warthog and Cold Fillet. "You know, I'm surprised with you two to be honest... you were recommended by deva corp, expected to see that you had your hands in their cookie jar so to speak." She responds with a chuckle. "Where did you work with them that you steered clear of that? don't tell me you were part of Payload's little hit crew they bought out or something..."

Burnup's bright blue optics widened when she heard Skyfighter is a pyro expert as well. It was good to hear somebody else has interest in fire. "35365657886-9523576700024!" Burnup told Isis excitedly. Even though she wasn't really paying her friend no mind at all, Isis responded as they go to get their stuff and report to their rooms "Yes, yes, yes. A fellow pyro. I'm sure you will get along swimmingly. Talking about which accelerant to use and what not."
"583063600074323450."
"Of course, dear. It does make a good accelerant " Isis responded back to Burnup as they walk off to get their stuff and report to their barracks.
When Skullgrin made that comment and asked that question, Cold Fillet let a small laugh come out of his mouth. "Me? Oh. I was just like every other bloke and lassie that gets employed by Deva. Recruitment drive. They shaved a few centuries off of me and gave a Transmetal upgrade. I figured I owed them for making me 21 all over again and for that upgrade. Which they did something about my beast mode. Not used to being a seafood platter you know?"
The Warthog chuckles a little before speaking. "Please. I'd go work with Jhiaxus first before I work with that polecat again."
"That bad?" Cold Fillet asked the Warthog bot. He responded with a nod. The Warthog than let out another chuckle. "Yeah, I worked for that whore. Didn't last long though. After being burned a few times, I gave my three weeks noticed and lob a grenade at her. Best day of my life. A friend of my mine asked me if I wanted to join a brand new Decepticons again though. Supposedly under new management. After what happened with Megatron and that whole Jhiaxus slag, I turned him down."

SKullgrin's ears peeked at the warthog's revelation. "Oh? A friend you say?" She responds with a smile, walking over to him. "He wouldn't happen to go by the name of Space Case, would he? Cute guy but a bit of an aggro dimwit at times. It's so easy to get the poor bastard flustered these days." She added, smiling at the two of them. "We can certainly use the help. Does this old fuel injector good to see some fellow veterans on the team. Some of the kids have talent... but they still need a bit of refinement."
