"And here we are..." Deva responded as she, Chokehold, and Striker finally arrived at Deva Corp. For an office building, striker might notice it looks quite fortified... strong foundation and obviously built of high grade materials. "We've repelled everything from corporate sabotage, the recent temporal storms.... and the last invasion of Unicron, heh." She comments as they walk inside.
"Repelled? We damn near slaughter the Biological Monstrosities." Chokehold replied with an almost loving look on her face. "I've still got one of their hides sitting in my office as a nice rug. Slagging things didn't take well to a little skinning I'm afraid, heh." She commented, one hand on the handle on the side of her leg. From the looks of it, of all things it was an Energo-Knife, bowie edition.
"Well yes, but I was merely making a point my dear about how much it doesn't take to take us down my dear." Deva said with a slightly chiding tone. "IT says something that we had to perform a government-approved raid on our last competitor after they tried to have me killed after all. And said assassin is now on our bankroll, in fact I believe she works under your command as well Striker. Congoraid has proven herself loyal after I gave her the power that nature denied her.... and much better benefits."

Striker was indeed taking in Deva Corp' building, giving a low whistle. He gave a raised optic ridge to what Deva was talking about
"Huh." was all he said on the matter, making note to look into this 'congoraid' femme. "Fine fine, let's check out my office and see what needs to be shaken up."
With that, she headed for the front door of the building, not waiting for Chokehold or Deva

Deva nods for a moment, following her inside. So far it looks alright... So far. Not quite the cluster slag striker was expecting. 'This way striker, your office is slightly centralized in the place, made it easier to coordinate.' deva explained as they walked past the secretary up front. She seemed to have a blowfish alt mode.

"Makes sense" Striker said to Deva, giving a nod to the secretary as the three of them walked past. It wasn't so much she was expecting a cluster-slag rather than he didn't know -what- to except from a place that so easily and openly used enhancers. Not to mention hired the assassin that tried to kill the companies head, and so-on and so-on. She had read up about Deva Corp on the way over
Hoo Boy.

Chokehold looks over to Striker, noticing her expression. "Used to stand for Devastation you know... nowadays we joke it's for Devastatingly Devious. She finds ways to turn enemy to friend. Or at the least... put a leash on the riff raff." She explains, following. "Doesn't hurt they keep on throwing true 'old hats' at us as well... all too easy to convince someone to listen with a 'fresh new start.' Payload should have learned that long ago... you're just giving her ammo."
Deva just smiles at this innocently. "What can I say.... I've lived the life of dstruction at one point. It so swiftly grew.... annoying. I'd prefer to be an agent of creation. Even in my most mischievous moments... I've given people new lives.... new jobs in return for the havoc I caused them. It's what caused this company to form, with Slingshot's help of course." She explains, growing silent as she remembers how bad Slingshot's condition is at the moment. None of the other councils really know what's going on... other then he was severely injured.
The Predacon Council keep their secrets well.... They come across a well furnished office as Deva walks inside, monitors rigged for every room and a surprising number of controls attached to them. It almost looks like they list some kind of enhancer... but it's not one she recognizes.

Striker frowned a bit, putting a servo onto Deva's shoulder, "hey, I'm one of those old hats, you know." she said softly, smiling a bit. It was actually warm and friendly, "I'll help any way I can, it's what I do Deva." she looked around at the office, "all mine?"

Deva smiled in response. "Yes, it is.... and in a sense, yes Striker. But I think Chokehold meant more those who really showed their age. If we had holo-photos of some of those they sent, they looked much closer to a raggedy Sean Connery then you did." Still, her smile showed she appreciated the sentiment. "We've added some features since Stronghug had left.... at Transmutate 2's suggestion."
Chokehold nodded as well. "Which also means if you know any old farts to bring in, we are up to suggestions." She couldn't help but jest about such a thing. Who would be crazy enough to come here on their own after all, in her opinion. "Want me to round up some of the knuckleheads?"

Striker chuckled, she was starting to like Chokehold. She nodded to the bear-former, "Please do CH, I'm curious to see what kinda of rabble's under my command."
She laughed louder now, "Wow. I wonder if Skyway felt this way back when he and Haste got command of us recruits."
There was a knock on the door to the office, "Ah... 'cuse me? Deva? Are you in here, I was told you were showing around the newbie~" It was a youthful voice, not Young but still not very mature sounding. Perky too, but to cover the owner's tired feeling

"Speak of the devil." Chokehold responded with a giggle. "This'll be interesting. I'll be back with the others in a few mini-cycles. I think most of them are on lunch break at the moment." She comments as she starts to leave.
"Come in Trailbreaker, yes... I was showing Striker her new office." Deva replied with a smile as Chokehold started to exit the room. "It is possible. You've seen the reports, the original employees were literally the victims of a prank by my hand after all." She explains.

"Oh boy" Striker sighed with a chuckled. She blinked, her optics flickering off briefly at the young femme that trotted into her room. She noticed two things
One: Fur and Tentacles, that was an odd combo for certain and that meant a fuzor. Two: There was a baby, in a sling carrier, resting at her hip
The new entrant to the office blushed, giving Deva a stack of data-pads
"Sorry, I couldn't find a babysitter..." Trailbreaker whispered

Deva smiled gently for a moment, taking them. "It's quite alright Trailbreaker... with the new recruits sent to the Neo Autobot's ship, it's been hectic for everyone here." She responds. It's noticable to Striker that despite the newcomer's obvious healthiness, Deva takes on a careful and concerned tone with her. Much like a mother might take to their teenaged daughter really... though nothing in Trailbreaker's bio suggested such an occurance. "Do you want me to find someone to watch him? I'm sure Delta could use a break from the research he's working on... and he's taken a surprising liking to the kid." She asks as she continues to fill them out. "Or I could give your little intern friend the day off to watch him, with pay. It's not like they get hazard pay after all."

"Thanks De...", Trailbreaker blushed, "well, maybe just so I can work through lunch I mean..." she stammered a little, embarrassed that she looked this unprofessional around the new security chief
Striker smiled, "Cute kid" she said, "Trailbreaker, eh?"
"Ye-yes ma'am?" she said, standing a little more at attention, something about the newcomer's aura called for it
"Take a two hour lunch, with pay" She said, "No need to miss out on recharging your own battery, right?"
Trailbreaker blushed, "Thank you"
"No problem. After though, I -would- like to talk to you, get to know those under my command"

Deva smiled. "I'm starting to think you'll get along well here Striker. Call it a hunch." She replies with a giggle. "And if I'm sensing things right... you're about to meet the most unique of our guards. She's actually started in the last few mega-cycles... started out as an intern as all things."
"You just had to bring that up." A newcomer said as she walked up.... looking like a who's who of freakish animal parts on a transfromer. There were signs of a duckbilled platypus in her alt mode... as well as mantis, maybe even a little turtle. She even appeared to have a second smaller set of arms underneath and mantis claws mounted over her shoulder. "At least I started the reform with a bang, eh? Loss of looks and the old joystick is nothing when you're this bad ass. And I'm so mangled up they don't even work on me anymore." She laughs to herself before extending a hand out to Striker. "Transmutate 2. Cooper said she'd be on her way in a bit."

"Striker" she said, taking Transmutate 2's hand, shaking it firmly. To her credit, Striker didn't even bat an optic cover when T2 walked into the room, though she did move her head up and down, taking her form in... then again, it was excusable as she was the new boss.
"Cooper?" she asked
The protoform on Trail's hip reached out for the smaller arms on T2's body, burbling happily

Transmutate shakes back, before blinking and noticing the smaller one's burbling with a smile. One of the arms extends outwards gently for the young protoform to play with. "One of the other major guards. I think she was a part of Chokehold's old unit with a few others, they all seem commerady enough anyways. Nice to meet you Striker. Got one of the 'new classic style' shells there, don't cha?" She asks with a curious expression. "It's hard to tell these days if it's someone who's retro-formatted or it's someone who just had the luck of the draw to just end up that way by the hand o' primus."
