The middle of the night. All was quiet in the area surrounding the Council Meeting Hall. Lights were on, but that was because it never truly closed; be it late working clerk, cleaning crew, any number of things.
Action, however, was in the planning stages. A klik out and approaching fast was a light, quick jet; in truth a transtector body that allowed the pilot a larger and more armored body, akin to the 'classic' bodies Cybertronian had for millennium prior to the Great Upgrade.
Inside the cockpit were two femmes, Neo-Aerialbots both, and it was... pretty cramped.
>>Who's ideas was this anyway?<< Vixen asked, the fox-former squirming as her passenger was squeezed into her lap, reaching around her to pilot her transtector
>>Yours.<< Came the reply from the dragonfly femme, >>Also for using this junker suit. At least this way we won't have to pay much for repairs<<
Vixen snorted, >>Ugh, you mean we can't just write it off?<<
>>Not this time, no.<< Tailwind gave a little giggle, >>I warned you it was going to be tight though<<
>>... are you--<<
Tailwind rolled her eyes, >>That was Not a crack about your weight, no. Anyway--<< She touched the side of her helmet, switching channels on her comm, >>Beta Team, Come in. Beta Team, Come in. Operation is about to commence. Are you in position?<<
The Operation. They were to go into the Council Building and get out their comrade, Stingray.
Easy Mission... on the surface.
The Council Building had patrolling security teams, to begin with. Then there were the hidden, automated defenses. Used in time of war against attacks, while they hadn't been needed in some time, they were still there. Paranoia ran deep in a race that lived for millions of years and were at war for millions as well. "Better safe than sorry" weren't just watch words, but words to live by.
It was this that lead to their two pronged approach. Beta Team were ground-bound, and moving in to provide cover and distraction for Alpha Team, the two of them. That's why the junker transtector, in case they had to bail they wouldn't be loosing anything extremely important.
Once Team Beta was engaged, Vixen would drop her payload... Tailwind herself, the dragonfly femme was going to fly in under the radar, quite literally as her smaller frame would not be sensed by the automated defenses that guarded the building's airspace.
Vixen sighed, worrying about her own tail.

>>Beta Team to Alpha, we're almost in position.<< Topheavy said, rolling towards the council building firing at every potential target in sight >>Why do I have to wear this suit? It's suffocatingly restricting my enhanced form!<< Said Skyfall hovering not too far from Topheavy. >>More mortar, less whining. focus on the mission Skyfall.<< Topheavy blasting a hole in the building in frustration. Skyfall's addiction was overwhelming at best. >>Fiiiiiiine, can't wait to break free from this enhancer-lock...<< Skyfall said, opening fire at some windows nearby. >>Alpha Team, we're ready. good luck!<<

Stingray went back to what she was to do and that was to listen for reports from the patrols that were looking for Tearoness and if they had any information on where Tearoness might gone into hiding.
As she flipped through the channels, the screen comes on to show that the council building was being attacked, this must be the crew that Merkava told her that would bust her out. She thought for a moment wondering if she should tell the council that they were being attacked. It might blow the crew chances of getting inside if they knew about the defenses.
No let the council find for themselves and she had a feeling that Elita might have something to do with this bust out.
Quickly going over the channels and setting them on auto to make it look like she was doing her work and Stingray also left a message for the council would ask why she hadn’t let them know about the attack. Gathering up her few items that she was taking with her she quickly found the channel that the attackers were using hoping that there might be out than just what she saw on the screen encrypting the message in case the council might be listening in.
Message saying that she would be in the ventilation system and would be heading to the back of the building and would be waiting for whoever was going to get her out, she hoped it would be Merkava. Heading over to the vent that was behind one of massive computers that was in the room she quietly opens the vent hatch crawls in with her small bag, moving the vent hatch and puts it back into place like nothing has ever been moved. Taking out a map that she made a long time ago just in case of emergency that she needed to escape from the council undetected she hoped, and she headed the route that had been outline to the back of the council building.

Soon Topheavy and Skyfall found themselves under rifle fire from the Autotroopers that patrolled the council building at this time of day. Nothing too bad at the moment, but they seem to be trying to keep their attention on the entrance. One might get the feeling reinforcements are on the way and that might not be such a good thing. The reason why becomes more apparent as sections of the wall surrounding the front entrance shift and transform into larger-calibur cannons which fire in the two transector pilots' directions. No signs of the building itself being a transformer however, just built like one. Whatever the case, it either sees no threat from Vix's transector as it continues to focus its attack on the two transector pilots up front.

>>Thanks Beta Team. We'll need it!<< Vixen said as her junker transtector took fire, panels flying off, >>Package is being dropped<<
>>Package away!!<< Tailwind giggled as the canopy was 'blasted' off. It was blown off by the ejection system, but an fortuitous blast from the sentry cannons hit 'just right' to appear as such.
The pilot's chair blasted out, and Tailwind leapt from Vixen's lap, curling up and transforming into her techno-organic dragonfly mode. With wings tucked in she hit a dive, appearing as unliving dead weight from the bogey the security sensors picked up (the junker transtector).
Vixen unbuckled from her seat and let it drop. Now, foxes couldn't fly... at least not her kind... but thankfully she had a flight suit. Spreading her arms and legs after having fallen some, she glided in
Next to her Tailwind buzzed down, her powered flight allowing her to hit the roof first, going in under the sensors and prep a landing area for Vixen so they could move the plan into Phase Two.

As Stingray continued to weave her way through the massive venting system of the council building quietly. It seemed like it was taking longer than it needed for her to quickly reach the back of the building.
Stopping for a moment taking the map out of her mouth setting it on the floor and looked it over again making sure she was heading in the right direction.
It seemed like she was heading in the right way. Looking at the map again and closer and saw that she wasn't going in the right direction where she was suppose to be headed. Taking couple of moments and very slowly turning around in the venting system it was a tight squeeze to turn around and headed back to spot where she was to turn off and actually heading, every now and then Stingray would check the map making sure that she was heading to the back of the council building.

Vix and Tailwind's landing seems to go as easy as can be at the moment. All of the focus seems to be on the fight below and whoever in charge hadn't seen the need to bring any sharpshooters up above... just yet. As they get their bearings on the roof, sounds of fire can be still heard down below. The lock to the entrance to the building still looks to be your standard autobot coded lock, one of the few things the council had refused to update over the years even before it was supplimented by the new council. Both of their visual displays from the exo-suit provided by DevaCorp noted a set of sparked individuals patrolling the floor below. Nothing too heavy, but stealth would be best at this time.
As Stingray made her way through the vents, a wrinkle showed itself as she came to a walled off section of the ventilation system. It appeared to be part of the buildings few new internal security systems, cutting off one of the many paths to easy extraction points in the building. There's a vent panel just before it that could be easily removed, though there seems to be some noise coming from below. It almost seems -too- simple and there may be a chance that it is a trap of sorts rigged to drop her into a cell. There's another side tunnel as well that isn't showing up on her map for some odd reason. Either way will have some chance for bad things to happen.

Stingray continued making her way through the venting system and the route that she was to follow to get to the back of the building, as she rounded another corner and from where she was Stingray could see that there was path ahead was walled off also seeing there was panel from where she was and hearing something maybe it was just noise or someone talking she wasn't going to take the chance of getting busted not now she had a mission to finish and she was going to do that she owed that to Elita.
Very carefully and quietly she backed away to where she had come from. Shaking her head angry she should of known that there would be some kind of monkey wrench thrown in just to annoy her. Taking out the map again looking at the map seeing if there was another way of getting to the back of the building and if not well it would get a bit loud when she made her exit. Taking a few more minutes looking the map over finding the next route and she quickly and very quietly headed that way to the back of the council building.

Moving quietly, touching hands to communicate through Chirolinguistics, the two infiltrators slid through a roof-accessible vent, preferring this cliched way of entry instead of the door with is likely alarmed lock. Keeping in mind of the unit moving about below Vixen took point in the duct work with Tailwind, reverting to robot mode, falling in behind her and letting her take the lead.
Sliding down through the duct-work that scooted along as quietly as they could in the vent shafts, keeping an eye out, both through the HUD and their own optics for the unit they had sighted. It would be a good idea to see what kind of opposition they were dealing with after all

As Vixen and Tailwind found their way into the vent shafts, an oddly familiar voice range from below. "What do you mean they've escaped?" Came the all too familiar voice of Prowl from the hallway. He seemed to be arguing with an Autotrooper, wings folded over his shoulders like a majestic cape. "We cannot have this situation move out of our hands. Whatever is going on outside barely registers an annoyance to what we have been working towards these days. True peace that the Primes and Primals failed to give us." He managed to add with an audible spit of disgust. "Find them. Find her as well. I will not have us dealing with another Ironhorse on my watch." He responded, before moving into an elevator at the end of the hall. "We've sacrificed too much to get to this point. I will not let anyone or anything get in my way." There was the sound of an elevator door closing as Prowl descended into the building. The schematics gave them a chance to follow... if they dared. ************************** As Stingray moved down the side tunnel, part of the path above seemed to shift much like she had witnessed during the great war... the panels and pathways shifting like a City Bot transforming. It almost seemed to be too good to be true as the wall that had been where her path branched again had a green neon arrow pointing in one of her two choices of direction. The walls seemed to grimace as if making this change was some intense effort for the building she was in. It could very well be that the building was alive, though this just gave her more questions to think about why no one had mentioned it before.

Stingray stopped for a moment puzzled as to why the tunnel she was in was moving, thinking back to the past as one leader pasted on and a new leader of the Autobots took over shortly after she had wintness the birth of a might Autobot city that could transform into one very large robot called Metroplex.
Shaking her head as she brought her thoughts back to the present. Again shaking her head in disbeif No this couldn't be Metroplex or could it be? Thought Metroplex had been destroyed by Trytripicon Stingray's thoughts raced.
Sting Shook her head hard and calmed herself down. this wasn't the time for question, save the questions for later. She had to get out of h ere and meet up with Merkava between the both of them she hoped to figure out what the slagging pit is going on.
Once the wall had moved there was a green arrow pointin in one directionand and the other another tunnel went the other direction this was frustrating her a little, taking the map out again and looking at it to see where she was after a moment or so Sting put the map away. it seemed like that the map didn't have this part of the tunnel that she was in. It was time ot decide which way to go. Dhe didn't want too make a mistake and go the wrong way then again she was taking a huge risk to escape she was betraying the Neo Autobots for doing this and she knew what would happen if....
No! she thought, you have a mission to complete and there is not turning back, Stingray knew in her spark that Elita wouldn't turn against her they were close friends and Elita was risking alot herself to help her escape and to give what infromation that was on that small disk. "Elita when this is over we both owe ourselves big time," she muttered lowly.
Sting followed the green arrow off to the left and quickly made her way down the tunnel that would take her to the back of the building so she can meet up with whoever was there to take her to meet up with Merkava.

Vix blinked but Tailwind was quick to shake her head, making some gestures in Cybertronian Military hand-signage. [No. Stay on Mission. No Deviate]
Vix bit her lip, signing "Ironhorse"
Tailwind nodded, [Yes. No Deviate] She didn't like it much either. Losing a lead on a friend's friend like this, especially since Prowl had said some very interesting, potentially treasonous things. Their mission was to get Stringray and get out.
They Had to stay on mission.
Still biting her lip, Vix nodded, [On Mission] she signed back. Tailwind gave her as good a hug as they could before leading onwards again, going over the mission parameters so they could find their target.

As Stingray reflects on the rise of the mighty Metroplex, it might strike her that the transformation of the wall isn't the only thing that suggests there is more then meets the eye to the Iacon Council building. While there were signs of construction, technology altered and changed in the tunnels she made her way in... The patterns and lines of energon filled tubing reminds her of bad memories, of seeing comrades injured in combat and struggling to hold in their internal circuits and wires. Even the access chute leading upwards as she moves forward, it reminds her of the central struts that made up the back of a cybertronians super-structure. To advance further in order to meet with her renddevous point... she may very well be climbing up the spine of a city former to get there. Which leaves the very important question... why hadn't it made itself known to the population? And most Titans like Metroplex had a hot spot... a source of sparks which she knew for a fact had never been brought up to the council. The kind that were blank slates... easily turned into MTOs if one had the mind to do so. And Prowl never did say where he was getting the recruits for his Autotroopers... ****************************************** As Vix and Tailwind continue along their assigned path, it starts to become noticable that almost all of the security on staff patrolling the building are Autotroopers. Especially on the upper and outer levels of the building, enough to wonder if maybe they're in charge of keeping the members in more then keeping them safe. Prowl's angered speech they had witnessed did not do much to dispel this feeling, even as they come to a snag. The blueprints for the building are not matching up with what they were expecting. What was meant to be a straight access tunnel to the lower levels seems to come to an end just before a flat dull security panel, with a number of energon cables cut short and capped around it. There's access to the hallways down two adjacent tunnels in the system, but to get where they need to it means crossing a heavily patrolled hallway and a dash of about 15 meters to cover. The panel seems hastily put into place for some reason, but it's made out of dense, thick metal. It almost seems like someone was worried more about someone entering the next room then any attempt at circumventing their mission...

The tunnel seemed to be long as Sting made her way down the tunnel looking at the tech some of the tech had been changed in someway it looked like a bad patch job to Stingray then again she wasn't a medic like Ratchet or even Merkava so she really didn't know much about wiring and the tech that goes into a bot besides the spark which she knew was the sould of a transformer.
She shivered as old memories flooded her mind during the Great War seeing countless Autobot's who dies seeing the crushed boides or bured out armor of the fallen Autobot's also seeing the burned wiring and so on shaking her head she moved on coming up to an access chute that lead up, climbing intot he chute and she climbed up the access chute she hoped that his would lead her to where she needed to go. Looking up the chute Sting got this horrible feeling about where she was. Was this Metroplex? Or was this some other huge Autobot city that she didnt' know about, whatever it was it wasn't the time to think about it but there was something that bugged her.
If this waas really Metroplex should he have shown himself or at least let the Neo Autobot's know he was still alive? Or was something keeping the big fella form doing that. Sting kept climbing up hoping that she would be coming to another access chute or a landing of some kind she didn't want to be caught in the middle of a huge bot who might transform at any moment she prayed to Primus that she would get out here and meet up with whoever would take her to Merkava.
"Come on how much long before I'm out of here?" Sting muttered.

... ... Both intruding femmes were rather confused. Silently communicating their shared befuddlement they brought up the floorplans, having a virtual copy for reasons just like this.
That bulkhead should not have been there. Doubly attention-getting was how cut short the wire and conduits were.
Turning and twisting the two got themselves into a chest-on-chest position so they could look at the bulkhead together instead of one being caught behind the other's aft. The ducts were big, but they were 'movie' big. Which was why the slight, lighte femmes had been chosen for this portion of the mission.
Running their fingers around the edge of the bulkhead they checked to see if it was sealed in place, or only appeared to be sealed in place. They should be so lucky.
