Downplay is silent as she sits on the back of Boltedge's back, hugging his head lightly with her hands as her stalks keep a firm grip on her back. She's been her usual bossy self this day, telling the older cybertronian where to go, what kind of materials to get her, and the whole 9 yards... but it seems she's finally worn out for the day. Her last statement was a simple 'home.' after eating... As Downplay and Boltedge enter the room, there seems to be something out of place. Specifically, there seems to be an enhancer injector laying in Boltedge's usual place of rest. There's no signs just yet of how it got there.. and Gutbucket seems to be asleep in his tank located in the room. "Hm." Boltedge can only look at the small device in confusion, never having seen the noncombat enhancer injectors. "Here, why don't you sit for a while, Downplay," he offers, sitting her down on one of the bunks as he stoops to retrieve the injector. The use of the thing is clear at least, even if it's results aren't immediately obvious. "It's a strange kind of sign, but this could well be what I've been waiting for," he ponders. "Downplay, you've been out in the world much more often than me. Do you know what this is?" he asks holding it up.

"Ah slag it..." Downplay replied as she looks over to the injector. "It's another one of those enhancer thingies... Personal type." She explains, rubbing her eyes a moment before glaring unintentionally. "I'm not going to take it no matter how much you make me. So don't even begin to think about it... It's bad enough what you people put me throu-" The smaller femme is cut off suddenly as Gutbucket bops her on the head from the top of the tank, upset about the sudden waking. "Quiet down." He mutters before slinking back down into the tank..

"Enhancers. A drug that changes who you are..." It's not lost on Boltedge how similar this seems to be to what Primus had said to him so recently. '"There's no real way to know what something like this will do to you until you use it, is there?"

Calming down for a bit, Downplay nods lightly in response before glancing at the device again. "Only if it has a label from what little I know on the subject..." She pauses for a moment, taking in Boltedge's tone as she leans back against the tank. Something doesn't seem right here, unless... "That one is for you, isn't it? Why'd you want to go under that junk, think it'll 'redeem' you?"

Boltedge turns and for a long moment just looks at Downplay silently. Just for that long moment, it might be prudent for Downplay to remember what it is exactly that he was imprisoned for. In his day, there was none more driven in melee combat. It may have been millenia since Boltedge ripped an entire town to pieces in a fit of rage, but it still happened, whatever his remorse now keeps him chained to. "No. I don't believe that. But someone else might."

Downplay goes silent for a few minutes as she shrinks under the sharp silent look of her caretaker. She had grown so used to the softspoken seeker before her that she had almost forgotten exactly what made him this way. Looking towards the container for a moment, she speaks up in a tone that could almost be seen as apologetic... if not for her usual tone mixing in. "Huh... isn't that what the nachos kid believes too?"

"Perhaps. I don't really know his exact motivation. I dont think it was him that had anything to do with this. I believe it was someone else." He turns the enhancer injector around, still unsure. "I... I think this is foolish, but i'm going to go ahead with this. I have no idea what it will do, so you should probably at the very least look away. Possibly even leave." With that he draws one last breath and fires the injector into his arm. It hurts for a moment, but that fades rapidly as whatever chemicals are in this concoction go to work. There's a slowing sensation, as though everything is being tuned down for a moment. Then the sensation spreads out from there, his systems starting to reform already, as the stuff begins to rebuild him. The plunger on the injector goes down, and there's an immediate impact on Boltedge, as for a brief second blue light flares in his optics, overwhelming his vision. There's a falling sensation for him, and then essentially, Boltedge the criminal is gone. He's set adrift, somewhere, but all the energy from his spark lingers on in his body. Though some power inherent in the enhancers, that energy flares again, creating life. A new spark awakening and claiming the shell that Boltedge inhabited. Slowly, the body starts to reform. It only takes a moment before physical changes begin, Blotedge's frame altering slowly, density shifting away to more female proportions... and then keeps changing. His hips are the most noticable first change, becoming a little wider than even most femmes currently in the base, even considering the havoc that less responsible enhancer use has caused. The changes continue to radiate out from there, down his legs and up into his chest and arms. His thighs widen to match the wider hips becoming plush and soft looking in the gaps of the archaic Seeker armor plating, looking a little pinched. Higher up, similar changes are happening as breasts begin to sprout. The former Boltedge groans, voice obviously different, slimmer more feminine arms wrapping around her torso, hugging herself and shivering a little as the changes progress, her breasts continuing to grow out. The old chest plate armor is hanging loosely from her slimmer frame, leaving a large amount of her growing cleavage visible. Whether it's paralytic effect from the enhancer dose, or just the energy output from the combination of Spark, physical body, and enhancer cooking off that's kept her upright this long, it's obviously running out of steam as the newly minted transformer slowly collapses under her own weight, sliding to the floor with a slight crash that almost immediately jars... whoever this has become back to mostly stunned, half awake conciousness. The drifting essence of Boltedge lingers for a moment himself, amused, in a way. This isn't exactly what he was expecting. On the other hand, did he really know what to expect? Part of him wants to wait, seeing what exactly will become of his sudden... whatever they are to each other, exactly. After only a moment of indecision though, he decides it's better to drift on. She, whoever she turns out to be, deserves her own life, with out him bearing witness to it for the moment. Instead, he smiles at what's been made of him and is gone, Spark drifting for parts unknown.

Downplay watches this in awe as it happens, shocked anyone would perform an action on one of their allies. It was bad enough when they were enhancering her own previous troops... After a few moments of silence, she walks over to the fallen figure and asks softly. "Boltedge?..." It's not so much a matter of caring at this point, at least about the other. She's just worried she'll be left without someone she could control like she did the former seeker.

"Hm?" The decidedly more female figure makes a kind of indistinct noise at the question before looking around vaguely, as though just waking up. She does manage a sleepy smile when she finds it's actually a little girl, Downplay, she thinks she remembers, who's questioning her. "Not quite."

Downplay blinks for a few moments as she peers at the individual. Part of her, the cowardly side of her... feels worried now that she's dealing with an unknown individual. However, the rest of her notices the smile and realizes despite the differences this person might have... she's still got a chance of manipulation. XD She speaks up a few moments later, her hands resting against the female's legs. "Um.. then who?...."

"Oh! I'm sorry, I was sure we'd met at some point." After the moment of confusion passes, she beams at her. "I'm Highdive. I guess we haven't really gotten a chance to get very close, like me a lot of the others here, but I know about you, definitely! Boltedge told me lots about you."

Downplay pauses for a moment, fearful of what Boltedge might have told this 'new person' in passing... but ultimately curiousity overpowers the ex-prison commander's fear. "...What... what sort of things did he tell you?" She asks lightly, still holding onto Highdive's leg. Part of her knows this is a bad idea, but the part of her mind that has 'devolved' for lack of a better term is still studying this new situation.

"Oh, well, nothing bad really. Boltedge sort of likes everyone, deep down, you know?" Highdive frowns for a moment, pondering the being she knows as her brother. "He sees the good side of everyone, since he's so convinced that he's so terrible. I guess he kind of is, yes, after the things he's done... but he doesn't realize what he's become in paying for his crimes." Its an ironic sort of statement coming from the cybertronian that really is what Boltedge has become in paying for his crimes. She smiles again after her moment of reflection. "He also told me you're kind of a brat now."

"What? how dare he!" Downplay manages to exclaim before pausing and realizing she proved the former prisoner's statements quite right. "I mean, why I never... I'm not a brat. I'm just very loud.." She responds quietly, trying to pathetically put on the airs that her 'brother might be wrong. "But yeah, he does blame himself a lot for things." She blinks for a moment afterward, a bit shocked that she admitted to such a thing. Something about this new person... it makes it hard for the former commander to not agree with. It might just be what little part of her morals is left, sensing this really isn't boltedge before him. However, she can't help but test how much control she has over this newcomer. "It's a bit stuffy in here. Maybe we should get some fresh air, aye?"
