ooc: Festum, realized Slingshot was somewhere else... but there's someone else to show Ballad around in the same council bic: "So... this is the place." responds the larger purple and blue cybertronian as he starts to show around the council's newest recruit. Since the mess with Cicadatron and the other former council members, Spinout and the others have been really working to make the facility a much more regal and noble looking place. As he enters with his fellow council member, she might notice a surprising amount of lighting set in place for the main corridor for such a formerly private race. There's no shadows to hide in, for any surprises to come her way just yet. "We're still working on it though, but it's a good start so far, eh?" He adds with a small smile before looking in her direction. "Still need to work on the public's impression of the old rule... but one thing at a time. Anything in particular you want to see?"

Ballad's arms hugged her shoulders tightly, her optic sensors darting back and forth behind her visor as she walked. She was only half aware that she was being spoken to by the unfamiliar transformer at her side.
"Glinting lasers, traveling paths, creek and crawl, red and dripping down, down down... liquid and writhing, and alone, nevermore, ever after..."

Spinout pauses for a moment before placing a hand on her shoulder lightly, speaking again softly. "You don't have to be alone anymore Ballad. There's no more blood to be spilt in this place, we only want to work to prevent the wounds of the past from drowning our present in blood." He can't help but be concerned for the small mech femme, it's one of the reasons that Slingshot seconded his recruitment into this council. "No more pain, I promise."

Ballad Jerked away and glared up at the much larger transformer, while several of her drones phased out of stealth-mode and landed on her shoulders protectively.
"He thinks he sees, he thinks he speaks, he thinks he knows, but in land gone cold, black grows old, and light dims still!" she accused.

"I know enough to know you being in that asylum wasn't doing you any good." He responds sharply, crossing his arms. "Or would you let those who still remember your poetry of old believe such things are useless noise in these days? People still know of your work you know..."

Ballad looked away and shrugged.
"Ticking back, tocking forth. Gold to brass, not brass to gold."
She skipped towards one of the far walls and began happily scratching in a transcript of her entire conversation.
"Scroll to all, scroll to all," she hummed happily to herself, as though she'd completely forgotten who she was talking to.

Spinout paused for a moment as Ballad went into her own world, stepping after her while rubbing his chin in deep thought. He felt he got more of a response from her when his own vocal patterns moved to those of prose... but he's never been too good at these kinds of things. His 'sister' deathwish has always been better... "Even a tarnished object can shine under a polish..." He responds suddenly, trying to think of more. "It is only the stubborn coal that waits so long to become a diamond."

Ballad's optics suddenly flashed bright red, and her claws dug into the wall in front of her down to the knuckle. A horrible buzzing sound came from within the claws, and in response, the wall around her fists suddenly crumbled to dust.
Just as quickly, the buzzing subsided and Ballad was left looking curiously as the new hole in the wall, seemingly oblivious to her sudden tantrum.

Spinout cringes, covering his audio units as the screeching sound tears into them. As it finishes, he blinks for a moment before moving closer, a bit worried for the older cybertronian. "Ballad?... what just happened? You seemed to have had... a fit." He responds, not exactly sure what else to do at this point. Part of him tells him he should get someone with more knowledge on the situation...

Ballad ignored Spinout's concern, and instead grabbed his arm in hers and pointed down the hallway towards where he was leading her.
"Travels past, future tense."

Galvatron sneezed loudly at the end of the very same hallway, a look of boredom on his face. If one didn't know any better, one might think he'd been out partying by the look of him... but the truth was a far less enviable situation.
"Ugh... one of these days I'm going into hiding... witness protection... something... anything."

Spinout blinks for a few moments looking at Ballad before nodding and heading down the corridor. "Understood Ballad. Well, the big meeting hall is down this way along with records-" He responds before stopping his talking and looking in Galvatron's direction. He couldn't help but chuckle and smirk as they head in his direction, speaking up towards the sneezing predacon. "Bad night with the girlfriend, aye Galvy? I thought those kinds of things stop when the baby's born, don't they?"

Galvatron's head turned slowly, much like in a horror film... a look of pure desperation on his face. "It... never... ends."
He cocked his head to one side, "Is it abnormal to be able to function for 3 days with no sleep only to realise you have no idea where you are, what you're doing, or why you aren't sleeping at the moment?"

Spinout rubbed the side of his head lightly, thinking carefully on his response. "Uh... sometimes? You're over at the Predacon Council building Galvy... I was just giving slingshot's new recruit Ballad here a tour of the place. As for the why you weren't sleeping... I've got nothing on that. Unless you're afraid she'll find you again if you do." He explains sheepishly. "How likely that is, I have no idea..." ooc: oh, and I finally set up the medbay thread over in the space area for sobok amigo. : )

Ballad looked between the two bots apprehensively for a moment, but then sat on the floor and jack-knifed her legs up and wrapped her arms around them.
Two of her ravens de-cloaked and landed on her shoulders as she began to hum an off-key melody to herself.
