It had been a long time since Mouthpiece had been to temple. The last time he had resided in the Temple of Primus had not been a good time. An ordained Priest of Primus of Predacon descent? The more corrupt elements of the Maximal Council at the time could not have such a thing. Charges were placed... the temple's funding cut underneath the scandal of his alleged crimes. And it drove far more civilians of the planet away from beleiving in their creator and towards believing in the 'science' of their bio-mechanical upgrades. He had done nothing but caused the temple grief in his mind, it had been one of the reasons his darker half which had tried to replace him in the depths of the CRF lair had gotten in his head. It didn't matter to him that the charges weren't true. He had still been used as a weapon against his fellow believers. He should not be here... but he had to warn them of what was coming. What he had -sensed- from his counterpart. Amolgois energy... the hackers had even found reports that other counterparts were out there. But the nature of their existance was being kept from public eye. He had to tell someone. It was enough to break curfew, to risk the chances he would be found in Iacon and recognized. Strung up again and quartered this time as a potential member of these new threats, the way the councils security was moving. He had been lucky that the building was far enough in the outskirts of the city that it was considered less priority to guard. As he knocked on the front gate, covered in a shroud... he couldn't help but worry if that was intentional. He might not be the biggest threat to the temple after all, if his concerns were geniune. A part of him was glad that Axegrinder had come along. They may need Warriors yet this late cycle.

Ice stifled a yawn as she shuffled to the door, signalling for a small security drone to back her up. She might be, mostly, a pacifist, but she kept the temple and her flock safe. And several homeless mechs where currently sacked out in the dorm area so she prayed this wouldn't end in a fire fight. She prayed this was Crasher come home, or at least someone with word from the youngster.
"Who is there, and what do you require?" she inquired, touching an intercom pad next to the door frame.

This was crazy she thought. Out in public, being exposed and risking being caught by the council. Or worse. But she understood why Mouthpiece have to come. After the recent events of encountering a dark clone of the former preacher, she could understood why Mouthpiece had to go tell somebody. She wonders if there's another reason why he's risking exposure to warn the church. She remembers Mouthpiece broken after his encounter with his dark clone.
Like Mouthpiece, she's covered in a cloak to hide her identity. And carrying her axe just in case things go south.

Mouthpiece went silent at the voice of his former teacher. He owed the world to Icebird and yet all he had done was cause the temple pain. This was wrong, this wasn't where he should be. But he had made the trip after all... his face scrunched up for a moment before tapping the pad on his side of the door and speaking softly. "A former student seeking council he does not deserve Master Icebird. And his-" He pauses for a moment, unsure what to call what he and Axegrinder had. Trying not to embarrass the Charr-born predacon, he speaks again. "And his companion. I would understand if you would wish me to leave." The absolute broken tone to his voice was heartbreaking to say the least if Icebird recognized him. This was his home for more cycles then it had ever been not after all.

Axegrinder didn't respond when Mouthpiece calls her his companion. In fact, she just chuckles a little. She just consider herself supporting a good friend. Well, her ONLY good friend. She hopes his former master don't turn him away. Being out here alone is rolling the dice right now. She also wish she pack more than her trademark axe.

Ice sighed and unlocked the door. "All are welcome, but I do want you to leave any weapons that aren't built in in the bin by the door." the organic-former said as the door slid open. She waved the drone away as she beckoned the pair inside. "What brings you two to my door this late? Also, can I get you two something to drink or eat?"

Axegrinder quietly follows Mouthpiece into the door. She places her axe and her pistol at the door as requested. She removed the hood of her cloak. "I'm quite alright, ma'am. Thanks for asking. As for what I'm doing here, I'm just preacherbot's bodyguard. Nothing more, nothing less."

"Some energon would be good Master." Mouth responded as they entered, pulling a cross-like device from his chest armor and placing it in the bin. It might suprise Axegrinder in it's appearance, in all the time that she had known him the preacher had never shown signs of weapons before. He pulls his hood back with a shaking hand before bowing slightly before Icebird. "I bring news of a coming darkness Master. We have both had a brush with a shard of the Dark One." Icebird's higher senses can feel it on them as they enter the room. They are not corrupted yet, but there is lingering Almogois energy from their encounter with the dark double of Mouthpiece. "It said there would be more on it's way."

Ice nodded and lead them into her office. From a hidden fridge she pulled a very good vintage energon cube and poured some into a glass which she passed to Mouth. At his mention of the Dark One she pulled out another glass and poured herself a measure.
"I can feel it on you both, and in a bit I can help you cleans it from you. But first, tell me everything." ice stated as she cradled her glass. She'd been having flickers of something when she meditated, but nothing had been clear to her save the shadows.

Axegrinder was surprised that Mouthpiece was packing heat. All the times she hang out with him, she doesn't notices him carrying any weapons. She chuckle at herself. Looks like she was slipping as a bodyguard. She took her place near the door and lean up against the wall. Far as she's concerned, she's still on the job. Than she heard something about being cleansed from...whatever it was. "Cleanse us from the shadows? They can infect us?"

Mouthpiece nodded in thanks as he took the energon, taking a sip carefully. "Yes Master, I-" He pauses for a moment as Axegrinder asks her question before looking back to her with a nod. "Yes Axe... the shadows were the work of the Dark One. The one who altered the decepticons who formed your home colony." He pauses for a moment, in thought. "It is likely why they did not get to you as much as myself. You were born on Charr, your ancestors would have developed a resistance naturally. Galvatron had not been so lucky." | He turns his attention back to Icebird as he started to consider his words carefully. "We have come from an underground colony founded by... others who were imprisoned by the same people who framed myself and the church by extension. Politic prisoners held by those who did not fit their plan. A recent revolt was turned into a revolution, though they want to take no actions just yet. Those guards who had changed sides in the conflict such as Axegrinder are also living with the colony. But there was a... shard of the dark one hidden in the caverns we live in. It tried to take me, pervert me into letting it into my spark...If not for Axegrinder it would have succeeded." He explained before taking another sip of his drink. "It took my form Master.. it claimed to be the darkness within me, what had caused the temple such grief..."

"Likely The Destroyer's blood was showing you what you feared the most, using your mind against you." Ice paused and then asked "Or did it really take a corporeal form? If that is the case..." she shook her head. "This is bad, very bad."

Axegrinder noted that Ice knew something. Judging by the sounds of it, nothing good. She was immune to the Destroyer? Know something new each day. "Destroyer?" Axe questioned the priestess. "As in Unicron?"

Mouthpiece nodded in Axegrinder's direction. "Correct Axegrinder." He looks back to Icebird, considering her question for a moment. "And yes... it did take a solid form Master. I have the evidence here..." He explained, before taking out a small containment unit holding what looked like a shattered chain. The emissions of Amalgois were contained by the small device but were noticable even from where Icebird sat. It was largely unicronian in nature, the same that his body and head were once composed of. "This was used to contain me. What little was left of the body was buried under a cavern collapse... Axegrinder took her toll on it. I do not believe it could recover from her... enthusiasm." He explained, trying not to make his friend sound wrong. He appreciated her rescue greatly after all. But as a place of peace he did not want to put his master in unease about what he had brought here.

Axegrinder just give Mouthpiece a little nod. She felt a little satisfaction of pounding the crap out of what was suppose to be Unicron's goons. That and she need to blow off some steam. "Amalgois? Unicron? What all of this mean? And isn't Unicron's slagged?" She asked. So many questions and so little answers. And all this is making her want to punch something right now.
