ooc: continue all bridge-daggery in this thread guys.
bic: Angelique chuckles for a few moments as they reach the ship’s control bridge, manning the scanners and adjusting them slightly. “Hey, you learn how to work on giant robot suits for formerly giant robots… you pick up some things. I was thinking we could track them due to their unique gestault nature… they should be putting out a lot more energy since technically their combined form is the ‘real’ one.” She explains, before increasing the range of their scanners. “I know that Tracer still is out on the field, can you get in contact with her on the com systems so we can direct her towards the others?”
As Angelique works on her scanners adjustments, she can't help but stop and blink. The scanners seem to already be picking up something moving towards the ship at high speeds, thoiugh she's not quite sure what exactly it might be. "Uh... Thrust? Wrath? Either the rescue team has been successful... or we're looking at a large projectile heading right for the ship." She responds lightly, a bit unsure of how to take it. After all, whatever is heading towards the ship is putting off huge amounts of energy.
Thrust looked at the scanners, frowning. Things like this were never good. Things like this were of the REALLY never not good variety.
" Two signatures, as far as I can tell, and uh..." He paused, glancing at the others. " We could be in major slag."
The energy was too much, matched too close to things that boded ill for everybody. " Magmatron's siblings. Get ready for an interesting time of it." Despite how calmly he said it, he kept his eyes on the scanners. Things were gonna get bad.
Wrathwhirl hastily looks over to the scanner display when Angelique mentions the strange readings. "Oh, boy. Let's hope it's the first." He keeps staring intently at the display, not entirely familiar with using it. "In case it's the latter, though... what do you think, how much damage could it cause? We might need to evacuate the ship if that thing's powerful enough."
Thrust shrugged helplessly. " I don't have a clue. Part of me wants to hit the panic button, but....it's a fairly heavy-duty panic button that we'd be hitting, here." Still, he couldn't ignore the instincts that were currently waving giant flags and screaming "Panic! Panic NOW!" But to evacuate the ship...." Arggghh, I'm no good with decisions like this, man," he whined, leaning back in his chair.
Angelique took this into perspective. "....Thrust, activate the outer speakers and let our new friends outside know of the incoming projectile. Tell them to head over to the hangar bay in case it's something bad... then open the doors." She looks back to the two of them in a hopeful manner. "Either way, it's got to be one of the twins... there's no way the 'cons have their dad on their side, and he's the only one capable of generating that kind of energy signature. If it is the enemy, the Rangers should be able to stop them... Right?"
Happy to be told what to do, Thrust...did as he was told.
" I don't see why the Rangers wouldn't manage."
Please, please, *please* let the Rangers be able to handle it.
